SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Where do you ship?

We currently offer shipping to Canada and the United States.

  • Canada: $14 flat rate shipping and free shipping on orders over $150.

  • United States: $20 flat rate shipping and free shipping over $200. Duties and taxes for US orders are the responsibility of the recipient. 

When will my items be shipped?

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we require 1-3 business days for processing. Your order will be shipped out shortly thereafter.
 

Are returns accepted?

Due to the personal nature of our products, all orders are final sale. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us at hello@understorybotanicals.com with your order number and any questions or concerns and we will do our best to resolve the problem – your happiness is important to us!

We offer deluxe samples for purchase or the Understory Discovery Kit, which includes 6 deluxe size samples, if you would like to try smaller sizes before purchasing the full-sized products.

  • I HAVE NEVER USED UNDERSTORY BOTANICALS BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I TRY?

    We recommend the Understory Discovery Kit as a great starting point to explore our key range of Understory products, as it offers all the necessary steps in a daytime/nighttime skincare routine. The Discovery kit is also a great value if you would like to add a couple of products to your already existing skincare routine. Each product lasts a minimum of 3-4 weeks, allowing you to fully experience Understory botanicals and add a new level of balance to your skin.

    If you would like to try a specific product, you have the option of purchasing that product in a sample size.

  • I HAVE ALLERGIES/SENSITIVITIES. CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS?

    If you have allergies or sensitivities, please check the ingredients listed for each product before purchasing. For more information about ingredients, contact us – we’d love to answer your questions!

    As with any skincare and beauty product, always perform a patch test on a small area before use and avoid use on sensitive areas. Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.

    Nut allergies: please note that our formulation lab is not a nut-free space and some products may be formulated with ingredients that contain/are derived from nuts.

  • HOW SHOULD I STORE MY PRODUCTS?

    To ensure that your products stay fresh for as long as possible, store your products in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light. Please see our Storage and Use page for more information.
